When I first started the DP programme I decided that I wanted to learn an instrument that I really liked. Now I've been playing the violin for more than an year. In the begining of the violin course I had trouble reading the music because I was not used to it. I had piano lessons when I was younger and I drew from the knowedge that the piano sheet music and the violin sheet music are the same I was able to read the violin sheet music. In learning how to play the violin I undertook a new challenge and by doing an hour of violin every sunday everyweek for a whole year showed my perseverance and commitment also in learning the violin I developed a new skill.
